Montenegro

Agricultural land is dominated by pastures and meadows, together represent 87% of the total agricultural land in Montenegro. Agriculture is very diverse with olives and citruses growing near the sea, vegetables and viticulture in the central part and extensive livestock, sheep and goat breeding in the northern part which also belongs to most important agricultral sector in the country. Number of cattle in Montenegro has slight increase in the past years, one of the reasons may be also development of processing capacities.

Olive oil and wine production belong to best of the country´s products and are well known. Both are still produced in a very traditional way.

Specialy Kotor and the mountain area are winning more and more interest between visitors.

Destination can be easily combined with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
