A Polish Farm Journey That Ignited Curiosity

In June 2025, German students dove into the heart of Poland’s agricultural landscape on an exhilarating agricultural study tour Poland, organized by InConventus. Spanning Poznan to Szczecin, this 5-day adventure blended Polish farm tours with vibrant cultural experiences, earning a 96% “excellent” rating from participants for sparking their passion for sustainable agriculture. Poland, a powerhouse producing over 2 million tons of sugar beets annually, proved an inspiring classroom for these young minds.

The journey kicked off in Poznan’s Old Market Square, where students cheered the iconic mechanical goats’ duel, a quirky tradition that brought history to life. 

At a leading seed company managing 7,000 hectares, students explored 92 crop varieties, including wheat and legumes, and marveled at sustainable practices across 350 hectares of grassland. A family-run orchard, spanning 45 hectares of apples, pears, and cherries, showcased a high-tech water-based sorting machine, impressing 90% of students with its precision. Over lunch at local restaurant, they savored grilled steak and caramel cheesecake, fueling lively discussions about modern farming.

In Szczecin, a tour of the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle and Chrobry Embankment enchanted the group, while a visit to the brewery offered tastings of light, wheat, and amber beers paired with smoked meats, earning a 94% “outstanding” rating. At Vineyard, students discovered sustainable winemaking on calcium-rich soils, with eco-friendly methods like flowering plants for biodiversity inspiring 95% of the group to rethink agricultural innovation.

From cutting-edge farms to Poland’s cultural heartbeat, this Poland agricultural tour left German students buzzing with ideas for a sustainable future.
